We are committed to building and boosting the capacity of our local leaders and organizations so we can most efficiently meet the needs of our communities.
For this reason, we collaborate with local organizations, nonprofits, governmental organizations, and local businesses to fulfill our mission.

HOW DO WE SERVE COMMUNITIES?
Some of the ways we serve are through community development, property rehabilitation campaigns, and diverse workforce training programs for craftsman trades and scholarships.
Our Community Building efforts empower neighborhoods to transform from within. These efforts include providing residents with classroom workforce training and on-the-job supervised apprenticeship training via neighborhood beautification projects.
This local approach enables community members to directly impact and uplift the neighborhoods in which they live – while at the same time attaining career skills that will enable them to contribute to the economic development of their community as well.
The Shane Foundation was founded to concentrate philanthropic resources in the cities where we do business.
Our desire is for all of the communities we work in to experience vibrancy and sustainability through our urban redevelopment projects.
